Rita Sharp is an instructional faculty member in the Honors College who teaches biology, biochemistry, science communication, and electives for the energy and sustainability minor. She also serves as the associate director for the energy and sustainability minor, with a focus on cohort building and co-curricular programming for minor students. Sharp is a graduate of the Honors College at the 探花视频 with a bachelor's degree in biochemical and biophysical sciences. She earned her doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston.
