Sceptre Hospitality Resources, LLC (SHR) 

Jimenez is the chief executive officer of Sceptre Hospitality Resources (SHR), an access company that is devoted to helping hoteliers gain a competitive advantage. Today, more than 2,500 properties rely on SHR to obtain reservation connectivity, powerful booking engines, customer relationship management, revenue management and digital marketing.

Before SHR, Jimenez co-founded and led Whiteboard Labs, LLC, an integrated developer of web-based software solutions. He also led its predecessor, Webvertising, Inc. Under his leadership, Webvertising developed and commercialized a web-based central reservation system (CRS) for the hotel industry, called iHotelier. The application was sold to TravelCLICK, in early 2004.

At Whiteboard Labs, Jimenez oversaw the launch of multiple applications, including the Windsurfer CRS. In 2012, Jimenez led the company in the formation of SHR, a Joint Venture with Singapore-based City Developments LTD. SHR then became a Serent Capital portfolio company, in March 2020. Most recently, the company acquired Avvio, LTD, an Ireland-based provider of AI-enhanced booking engines and web sites.

Prior to venturing into hospitality technology, he spent 10 years in the banking industry, where he advised many companies in a variety of industries and countries. Jimenez was vice president and client advisor in the international department of the Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in Houston. In that capacity, he advised subsidiaries of multinational companies in corporate finance and investment banking matters. Prior to joining Chase, he worked for Bank of America's Latin America division, where he was responsible for a portfolio of assets of more than $600 million.

Jimenez attended the Yale School of Management Global Leadership program, in 2020. He also participated in the financial management program at Stanford University, in 1997. He holds a bachelor of business administration in marketing and a master of business association in international business and finance, from the ̽»¨ÊÓƵ. Additionally, Jimenez has served as a director or advisor on several start-ups and local non-profit boards. He loves reading, long-distance running, biking and fishing.
