Faculty Recital: Andrew Staupe, piano

Faculty member Andrew Staupe presents a matinee recital featuring music from both ends of keyboard history, from the first masterpieces of the English and Italian Baroque, to new works written in the last decade. Works include a Toccata by legendary early Baroque master Girolamo Frescobaldi, a work by his English contemporary William Byrd, 3 new piano works (Stephen Paulus, Christopher Walczak, and Benjamin Krause), and music by Spanish composer Albéniz and Chopin.
